Has anyone heard of fossils being stolen? That has happened here. Nate Murphy, the famous paleontologist has pled guilty to fossil theft. Technically, yes, he stole. But he did not steal it from someone’s house – he took it from government property, without permission. And what did he “steal”? Dinosaur bones, of all things!
